Susan Munsey, LCSW is the founder of GenerateHope, a comprehensive and uniquely designed long-term recovery program for young women who have been sex trafficked. At GenerateHope she leads a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers walking with survivors through their healing process via housing, education, psychotherapy, adjunct therapies, and community partnerships. Susan chairs the San Diego Regional Human Trafficking / Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Advisory Council and co-chairs the Survivor Services Subcommittee there. She is also involved in many other trafficking related groups, activities and education in San Diego, California. Susan has a masters degree in social work from Smith College in Massachusetts and is licensed in California as a clinical social worker. She has 30 years of clinical experience in the community, in hospital settings and in private practice with 16 of those years working in the sex trafficking field.
