Alicia became part of the Restore team in July 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a passion for social services and affordable housing. Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from CUNY York College, Alicia embarked on her journey in the field in 2016, where she delved into the complexities of addressing housing challenges in urban environments.

With a keen focus on New York City’s affordable housing landscape and adeptness in navigating the intricacies of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, Alicia has honed her expertise over the years. Her deep understanding of Housing Recertification processes and her commitment to establishing long-term solutions for affordable housing retention, particularly for survivors of human trafficking, have marked her as a leader in her field. Alicia’s approach is guided by her training in Trauma-Informed Care, ensuring that her interactions are sensitive and supportive, recognizing the unique challenges faced by individuals who have experienced trauma. Additionally, her proficiency in Motivational Interviewing allows her to empower clients to articulate their goals and aspirations, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment for progress and growth.

As a member of the Restore team, Alicia is dedicated to leveraging her skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need, working tirelessly to create pathways to stable and secure housing for vulnerable populations. With her blend of expertise, compassion, and determination, Alicia continues to be a driving force in the pursuit of social justice and housing equity.
