FEATURED SESSIONS
Join us for practical workshops, inspiring keynotes, collaborative roundtables & effective breakout sessions!
Discuss the impact of human trafficking on the nervous system, understand neurofeedback as a treatment specifically tailored toward the nervous system, and learn how it can be practically integrated into the treatment of survivors at your program.
This training will cover everything from basic Trauma-Informed Care 101 to high level skills you can implement in your program. Whether you’ve never been trained before or have a significant amount of experience in this area, this workshop will provide you with essential knowledge everyone who works with survivors of trafficking needs to know!
People who have experienced trauma are more at-risk of exploitation and those with substance use disorders at an even higher risk. Traditional services can be insufficient in addressing SUD’s among trafficking survivors, who also face substantial barriers to improved health outcomes and accessing needed services. Learn how residential providers can be better equipped to address both trauma and substance use disorders.
Each and every survivor is a unique individual, which means the care that works for them won’t be a “one size fits all” solution. Learn some of the pros and cons of different types of therapy – from EMDR to group therapy – and the best ways to utilize them in your program.
Survivor-informed is one of those buzzwords that everyone is using, but what does it actually mean? Find out practical policies your organization can implement to ensure that survivors’ voices are heard, and lived-experience experts have a seat at the table.
