The pilot phase of the Rapid Referral process is building momentum! We are processing between 3-5 referrals each week with minimal promotion. To help increase visibility about this critical component to survivor services, please invite your local frontline responders and partner agencies to utilize this valuable resource: ShelteredAlliance.org/RapidReferral.
Rapid Referral is still in the pilot phase. Any time the Alliance receives a referral, the information is sent out to every known long-term shelter that can serve that candidate.
In order to maintain credibility with frontline responders, once the pilot phase ends, Rapid Referral will only include long-term shelters who are general members of the Alliance. By establishing this requirement, we can ensure all shelters receiving referrals are meeting the Alliance’s minimum requirements.
